CR 2019 Session One: Day 5

On Wednesday morning, the CrossRoaders continued their scripture and church history courses, as well as their small discussion groups. These lectures have sparked thoughtful and insightful questions and comments from the participants! They also partook in a captivating session entitled “Faith and Science”.

In the afternoon, we visited Holy Resurrection Bulgarian Orthodox Church in Allston, MA for a talk and vespers service. The night concluded with an interactive staff-led session in the Holy Cross chapel where participants were invited to learn about the lives of the saints, share their encounters with saints, and venerate relics. The takeaway of the night is that we are all called to sanctification.
