Day 2 – June 2015

The CrossRoaders started their day with Orthros and Divine Liturgy at Holy Cross Chapel. We all had the enormous blessing of celebrating the liturgy with Metropolitan Kallistos Ware who is visiting Holy Cross for a conference. He offered a moving homily on what it means to be a saint. Father Chris Metropulos, the president elect of Hellenic College Holy Cross, also shared a few words with the CrossRoaders.

After Liturgy and breakfast we headed up north to a ropes course run by Project Adventure where we engaged in some great team-building activities.

After the ropes course, we returned to HCHC and participated in a session run by CrossRoad Director, Mike Tishel, on vocation. The CrossRoaders are invited to consider vocation as “your unique and ongoing response to Christ’s call to love God with heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself.”
